With the use of hunting apps such as OnX be sure you are watching where your walking and not just looking at the maps on your phone. Just heard of this happening to someone while they were out hunting and the person walking around wasn’t even wearing orange.
I went for a walk at my usual trail in a Michigan state park not even thinking about it being hunting season until I came across a hunter on the trail. I won’t be making that mistake again! Never knew people could hunt in recreational parks.
