The best way to prevent from becoming a victim to identity theft is to âfreezeâ your credit in the 3 major credit bureaus! Make an online account at Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union for free! Its basically the same thing as âlocking your creditâ without paying for itđ! Someone stole my identity before and it's horrible to go through!

Remember, donât use the same password for every website.
Past due bills & unknown calls seem to be the ones I hear about the most. Especially scary for people that don't know these are common scams.Â
This can happen to anyone!
That is why I do not like to use unsecured Wi-Fi to log into apps like paycom for example.
