Always good to have a plan. And make sure everyone knows it

Have a plan and make sure everyone in your household is on the same page regarding the plan. Probably not something a lot of people think about, but it might be a good idea to purchase a hand crank-operated radio to listen in on PSA’s, emergency broadcasts, etc.

Emergencys can be hectic, just got to stay calm and focused and communicate with each other. With a plan you’re going to make it.

Check your emergency kit in your car.  Make sure everything is up to date and re-supply if needed.

Having a few basic things ready and in reach will make a big difference when the power goes out or you are stranded in the car.

When my kids were little. I showed them how to shut off the water to the house in case of a burst pipe and how to escape from upstairs bedrooms. It’s just being ready and having everyone else ready that you live with.
